    1.. Refunds
Some events may require pre-paid reservations. This is most often used for feast related events. In this situation the food for an event is purchased based on the anticipated number of attendees (reservations). At the time of reservation, attendees may also choose to pre-pay site fees.

Cancellation notification:

Prior to the reservation deadline, a full refund will be given.

After the reservation deadline, and 24 hours or more prior to the event,

a refund will be given only for site fees. The reservation holder may choose to sell their feast reservation, compensation for which is to be handled privately between the two parties involved.

Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis. Exceptions would be

allowed only with pre-notification and only if the cancelled reservation

could be resold by the exchequer onsite and the feast expenses were fully

covered by event attendees.

Cancellations occurring on the day of the event; only site fees will be

refunded. The reservation holder must seek their own compensation for

feast based on the resale of their own reservation.

Unclaimed reservations without proper notification will not be refunded.

Refund checks will be issued only after payments made by check have

adequately cleared the bank, which is typically 10 - 30 days after the event.

Refund checks for pre payments will be refunded only after approval by

the financial committee at the next regularly scheduled meeting.

All refund requests must be supported by appropriate reimbursement request forms.

Subject: [Artemisia] EMERGENCY WEATHER CONDITIONS IN SLC

(X-posted to Kingdom & local lists)

Looking out the window at my office on the west side of downtown Salt Lake
City--within the last ten minutes the weather went from cloudy skies but
clear visibility to alpine blizzard white-out. This means ZERO VISIBILITY
  beyond 100 feet at best.

If you're debating whether to chance going out on the roads toward
SLC--DON'T. If someone you know is on the road heading our direction and has
a cell phone, call and tell them to PULL OVER AND WAIT IT OUT.

We don't know how fast the storm will clear. Don't risk a fatal crash with a
  Utah driver.
