I trust your comment and add one more. The other martial activity for every SCA family member, ages 5 to whatever, is horseback riding. Yes, that means one must find a horse. But then to shoot archery, one must find a bow and some arrows. FYI, archery can be done on horseback too. Anyone want to learn? Get in touch with your local equestrian officer.
