Iris asked "Oh, please tell me, when will that be??"

Opinions vary.

Jim Jolley, long time friend and teacher of High School English told me that
it would happen around age 17.

Evidently, my own were somewhat slower than their peers in this. For my
eldest, it was around age 20. For my Second, now age 21 that responsibility
was transferred to the US Air Force … having expended my patience on the
subject. I am pleased to note that his first Letter of Reprimand for being
late to formation seems to have worked a fine treat for that.

My 16 year old, though, can not get to that point too quickly for me. She
is alive after this weekend, ONLY because it is against the law to kill her,
and if she didn’t show for classes eventually someone would ask questions.

Perhaps Iris and I could discuss a fostering trade.

Never knock on death's door........ Ring the doorbell and run. He hates
that.
