[Artemisia] Welcome Home from WAAAAR!

Welcome home to all those returning warriors! Estrella was great fun, but a
little less so until about Saturday... that was the first day the rain
really stopped. This was a war to make Mudrising proud! I'm pretty sure the
fighting fields were actually the _least_ muddy places to walk by the end...
 
Speaking of which, you might be interested in how Artemisia and her allies
did this time around... well, the hardsuit battles were very hotly
contested. After some mighty exciting battles, we got edged by _one_ point.
We won big in the A&S competition, but lost the Archery point. Then there
was my own crowd, Rapier. After getting rained out of fighting melees on
Friday, the field was safe enough for us on Saturday to start early and try
to get in five full scenarios. The first one was a best-two-out-of-three
open field battle. We cleared the field in about 5 minutes flat on the first
pass. Our foes fought back and, eventually, took the second pass. That was
the only thing they won on the field all day! We completely stormed the next
pass and the next two scenarios, taking the warpoint in 3 straight
scenarios, leading to what I believe is a _tie_ in the war!
 
And I can fairly say that though the Outlands brought a lot of people, and
some very skilled fighters, Artemisia's crew contributed the most impressive
discipline I have ever seen - each of those scenarios would have been very
different but for Artemisians holding their ground and maintaining ranks
like the true professionals they are - vivat! And extra vivats to our Rapier
Commander, freshly minted _Dona_ Rowan! Also to our newest Knight, Sir Bart!
I also believe I heard that Count Sir Michael spread our glory far and wide
by taking the Outlands Heavy Tourney! Whee!
