I guess I am a lucky one!  I also took a 3 month old to Estrella... the one 3 years ago where it rained almost the whole event and everything flooded at Estrella park.  He slept through the nights, didn't complain, and was a joy the whole event.  It probably helped that we kept him bundled and warm the whole time, and had let him sleep a few nights in the portable bassinet at home to get the feel of it first, but that is all speculation.  Maybe it is just his nature to enjoy an adventure! :)  
So, I guess it depends entirely on the infant in question.  Some will be miserable, some will be just fine.  Unfortunately, you have no real way to know which way yours will react until you try it... and if they are of the unhappy camper type, finding out may not be much fun.
