Greetings Fighters and Others who appreciate authentic armour, There are 2 threads that those who like early to mid 1300's armour will really like on the Armour Archive. The first one is Rod Walker's new 1340's harness. Of particular interest is his padded cuisses with "soupcan" knees. For those of you who like that approach, there are some great photo's. The second thread is guy's re-creating the Combat of the Thirty, held in 1351, during a short break in the Hundred Years War. This particular battle has been re-created at Pennsic, and is quite spectacular, as to get into the battle your gear has to be really good. The way to get to the threads is below. Enjoy! Alan Go to armourarchives.org. When you get to the home page, pick out the "Discussion" page. This will open up a page that will lead you to various forums. The first thread is on the "Interpretive Re-Creation" forum, and the thread title is "1340's Harness. When you get done with that, back out to the forums page again. This time open the "I want to Be A...." forum, then scroll down to the "COT...1351" page.
