[Artemisia] Fwd: Doritos Superbowl Commercial Needs an Army this Friday

(I tried sending this to the list yesterday, but I think it got eaten.  I
apologize for any repeats of this information.  If someone feels like
cross-posting it to other group lists, that would be awesome)

The BYU Adlab (who won the Doritos ad competition last year with their "guy
with a hawk" commercial) is filming a new commercial this Friday (November
10) and want as many "knights in shining armor" types as possible.  The
story (as far as I'm aware) involves a bunch of time-traveling knights
storming a house with a battering ram for a bag of Doritos.

The shoot will take place between 4 and 10 pm (I don't know if they will
actually use all of this time) and they will provide free food and $50 for
every armored extra who comes.  If you are interested but can't come right
at 4, they can probably work with that -- just let me know the soonest you
can reasonably come.

Anyone who can come is encouraged to do so!  SCA-standard is not important
so much as how it looks.  A helm and a few metal pieces would probably
suffice as a minimum.  Prettier stuff would not go amiss.

If you or anyone you know is interested please let me know as soon as
possible!  The filming will take place at a home in Provo.

several awards, one of which included a slot during the superbowl, so
they're not just messing around here.

I've been trying to coordinate with this production for a while (for better
or worse), but I just got word that they want a lot more people, so I'm
putting the word out and hoping for the best, especially considering the
short notice and the fact that people have jobs, families and other
real-life concerns.
