[Artemisia] Toys for Tots - Feast Reservations

Toys for Tots Feast Menu

Please make your feast reservations now for Toys for Tots – send an email, (
kynewynn at gmail.com) or post on the forum.   Feast is $8.00 per person
(adult); $5.00 Youth – 6-15, and Free for children 5 and younger.  I will
need to know how many adults and youth, and the name of the person making
the reservation.



This feast* is based on the idea that King Richard, on his journey back from
the crusades,  ate whatever the locals ate. His route was heavily laden with
lots of different cultures and an eternal quest to fill stomachs.

1st Course (Middle East): hummus, roasted red pepper, olives, pita bread

2nd Course (Silk Road Junction): some form of Japanese or Chinese soup.
Possibly miso, osumashi, or hot and sour (egg drop)

3rd course (still on the Silk Road): curry (vegetarian, pork, or seafood),
and rice

4th course (Greece): baklava

5th course (Roman Empire): pork roast, carrots, minted peas

6th course (England): spiced cider, boiled cream custard tart (non-dairy
coconut custard too)


*The feast steward may change items depending on availability, cost and
other factors.
