[Ek_fiber] knit cap identifier

I thin AEllin has the right of it--something like a
cap or other garment would just not fit too many
people. How about a small pendant, of a
not-too-period-specific design, which could be worn
any number of ways. A viking could hang it on a swag
or cord, a later period type could pin it to a hat, or
it could be suspended from a belt or sewn onto a belt
pouch. 
What about a tiny pair of thread snips?
