"Want to start printing period promissories?"

OOH! This would be so cool!

Sorry I'm missing the workshop this weekend. I would really have loved
to be there.

I've actually committed myself to teaching a few workshops at my
friend's elementary/high school. Tomorrow I'll cover Henna body art
(history and a demo), bookbinding (leather bound limp binding), and a
short talk on a day in the life of medieval England (talk briefly about
the feudal system, clergy, scribes (of course), etc.) It should be a
lot of fun.

The past few months I've:
-Worked on a few scrolls - either on my own or collaborating with other
scribes
-Played with woodblocks (Indian textile blocks) that I've used on paper
and hope to get around to putting to linen soon.

-Bound a few books with a Japanese stab binding - I had a few students
and friends paint flowers (12 - one for each month) and then made color
copies. I bound the original and gifted it to the Princess and then
made a copy of each person that participated in the project.
-I did a project on the "Sight" unicorn tapestry from the Musee de Cluny
(research paper and painting)
-Mundanely, I recently hand wrote 150 wedding invitations (on impossible
paper - cold press watercolor paper & most of them were against the
grain!!!) Luckily I found a way to finish them without having a heart
attack!

Ok...I think that's it for now.
