There is a hot-and-heavy question at the moment on textile lists: the
location (library-wise or purchase-wise) of the following book.

Bouet, Pierre, Brian Levy and Francois Neveus, eds. "The Bayeux Tapestry:
Embroidering the Facts of History". Caen: Presses Universitaires de Caen,
2004. Proceedings of the Cerisy Colloquium, 1999. pp. 426. $50.00 (hb) ISBN
2-84133-213-6

If anyone can help, we'll all throw ourselves at your feet in adoration.

"But if by 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind,
someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about
the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their
jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes
we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies
abroad, if that is what they mean by 'Liberal,' then I'm proud to say I'm a
'Liberal'." John F. Kennedy, 14 Sept 1960
