Ok so no MED or OED online---

http://a-z-dictionaries.com/online-dictionary.html   lists a number
that are online.

Also there are a number of Shakespearean dictionaries online also
http://www.william-shakespeare.info/william-shakespeare-dictionary.htm

The other way to try this is type:   define "term or word" into Google
and try that.
Google often pulls up obscure meanings up.
