[Sca-librarians] TI Bibliography Format

Dear folks,

Johnna's emails about changes to TI have been very instructive. It
appears the new TI will not be about the Middle Ages; it will be about
"us," the members of the SCA. It will promote the SCA as an
organization, rather than offer information about the Middle Ages. The
content changes reflect a reduced historical focus and an increased
modern focus (attention to winners of contests and schedules of
events). Logically, then, bibliographies on historical subjects aren't
required (perhaps even historical articles aren't).

I think the SCA could be better served if the folks at TI took a look
at how Civil War reenactor magazines like "Camp Chase Gazette" (for
example) manage to promote the hobby, advertise its events, and publish
cool photos, while at the same time providing good articles on
historical subjects (without needing long bibliographies, either).
