Just for clarification purposes, is that a rhetorical question to spur interest and research on our part? Or do enquiring minds really want to know?

PS (I just love research. Something left over from the PhD in mundane life... Be careful of the results from opening Pandora's box, however)

Subject: [Artemisia] BARD Competitions in general, and Bards
Greetings, all:
Here's a question:
Do those who compete in these Bard of Artemisia and other Bardic
competitions have information they could share on the original use of the
word "bard" and the concept and possible duties of the bard as they existed
in the culture to which they originally belonged?
Interesting information to consider!!
Thanks!
Caryn
