ESTRELLA WAR XXIV PRINCIPAL KINGDOMS ANNOUNCED!!!

TRM Morgan and Livia, King and Queen of Atenveldt, announced today that the
Kingdoms of Caid, the Outlands and Artemisia have accepted Their invitation
to participate as Principal Kingdoms at the next Estrella War XXIV (Feb
12-18, 2008). 

"We are Most Pleased to have the Kingdoms of Caid, Outlands and Artemisia
agree to join Us as Principal Kingdoms again at Estrella War XXIV. All of
Atenveldt looks forward to sharing the Comraderie and Glorious and Honorable
combat brought to Estrella by the Populace of the Moon, Stag and Gryphon. We
invite the rest of the Knowne World to join Our Kingdoms and journey to
enjoy Our Warm Winter Sun in February." said His Majesty Morgan, King of
Atenveldt.

Principal Kingdoms for Estrella War agree to complete a number of important
medieval and modern tasks before and during the Estrella War. The medieval
tasks include having their Crowns/Heirs attend the annual Estrella War
Treaty Negotiations (now scheduled for September 29, 2007), and having their
Earl Marshals, Arts & Sciences Ministers, Kingdom Rapier Marshals and
Kingdom Archery Officers work on drafting medieval guidelines for the event.
They also agree to bring combatants and competitors to the event, including
an Army to participate in medieval Rapier and Heavy Combat melee scenarios,
artisans to compete in the Estrella War Arts & Sciences Competition, and
archers to shoot in the Estrella War Target Archery Competition. 

The modern responsibilities of Principal Kingdoms include providing Kingdom
Officers to serve on the Estrella War Financial Committee (the group that
controls budgeting and costs for the event), and providing volunteers to
work at the event to help run Estrella War, the biggest all-volunteer event
held in the SCA.

Ranch in Florence, AZ, including revised FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
and full information about:

- The Estrella War Treaty (what it is, how/when it's written each year, what
it contains)

- Preparing for the event (travel, weather, on-site/off-site services,
pre-registration, land and camping)

- Activities at the event (Arts & Sciences, combat, equestrian, archery,
tours and demos)

- Places to know at the event (merchants row, heralds point, period
encampment, volunteer point)

- Event administration (who runs the war, the staff list and how to join the
staff)
