The Loch Salann Youth Ministry anticipates 60 to70 youngsters attending 
Barons' War / Kingdom Ten-Year Anniversary. That means opportunities for the 
grown-ups (parents or not) to demonstrate their generosity and enthusiasm 
toward the youth of Artemisia.  Either of these would be a good project for 
a household or group:

GOODIE BAGS - Every youth who participates in the site clean-up “treasure 
hunt” on Sunday will receive one. Lady Bethoc and Lord Broka have generously 
donated plenty of munchies to fill the bags; I'm asking parents to donate 
juice boxes or small fruits (tangerines are a great kid-sized substitute for 
oranges).  A grand total of 5 dozen would be fantastic!

GLACIER MELT - To prevent eager little fingers from aching with cold, the 
Youth Ministry would like to have on hand a supply of wash cloths. (They 
last longer than paper towels.) They don’t have to be fancy or new. A couple 
of dozen total will allow the soaking wet cloths to dry while the next shift 
of “archeologists” takes their turn.

Note: Hot, sweaty warriors may *not* play wash cloth by draping their bodies 
over the ice block -– the kids are supposed to melt through to the treasures 
themselves. :)  Overheated adults may soak their feet in the pool of water 
that will surround the ice, or take part in the water fights.
