Greetings,
As a licensed Insurance Agent, I would be glad to discuss the insurance
issues off line with anyone that may have personal concerns or
questions. I did not cut and paste the thread as discussed so far, but
want to say that as I understand the SCA policy, its intended to protect
the Society and Corporation and may provide some additional coverage for
those designated as Officers or Directors. However, We should not
forget that each of us has personal responsibility and personal
liability. Insurance is intended for us to reduce the potential
financial loss if we get hurt, injure another, or are sued.

This said, I urge everyone to talk to his insurance agent and possible
get medical coverage for themselves and possibly a personal umbrella
policy to protect themselves from lawsuits. It should go with out
saying to keep your car insured, have homeowners or renters coverage.
Just having these basic coverages will help protect you from the most
common risks.

I am not soliciting your business, and simply want to emphatize that in
the modern mundane world, you need protect yourself. Please shop
wisely, consult your personal insurance agent and or attorney.

Thanks, exiting soapbox mode, back to enjoying these current middle
ages, anyone want to talk about jewelry making in period and want to get
together and make some?

YIS,

Anton von Heidleberg
