#1        This year's Artisans' Showcase will be held on Sunday under the
Grand Court Pavilion with Artisan's registration and set-up at 9:30am. The
Showcase will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 1pm. All artisans are
highly encouraged to attend, whether or not you participate in the display.
If you have pre-registered, see the steward upon arrival for your table
assignment and any other information. NOTE: artisans who pre-register will
have guaranteed spaces; remaining space will be distributed first come,
first served. To those of the most noble Order of the Laurel, please attend
and show your support for the artisans.  Please see one of the Artisans'
Showcase staff to sign in prior to visiting with the artisans after 10:00
am. Please direct questions to
Lady Damaris Baroid or Lady Maredudd Browderer.



#2        To aid you in planning your Estrella War, the Special Events
Calendar is on line for you to use.  Check out the Special Events and all

#3        Lady Arianna Maria della Luna has asked me to include this
announcement:  Pre-order your “Estrella War XXVI - February 2010 count down
to Estrella War XXVII February 2011” Calendar now and pick it up at War in
the merchant booth "Official Estrella War Market Place" or choose to have it
mailed to your home (if you choose to have it mailed you may not receive
until after you return from war). Please remember all Proceeds go back to
the Estrella War Fund.  For your convenience I have set up a Pay Pal account so
you can pay with a credit card.
Just go to: PayPal.com <http://paypal.com/> Click on: "Send Money" and type
in this email address in the "to" EstrellaMarket @ gmail.com  (Remove
Spaces)

Then fill out the other info that it requests.  Please print out your
confirmation page and have it with you when you pick up your calendar.

#4        Pre-Registration deadline extended to January 25, 2010.  You may
still pre-register for war by credit card on ACCEPS at:
http://acceps.ansteorra.org/index.php until January 25, 2010.  If you don't
pre-register, remember that "Troll" only accepts cash or traveler's checks.
  The front gate will NOT accept personal or corporate checks, cashier's
checks, money orders, credit or debit cards.



#5        Weather forecast for Estrella War?  Well, I'd like to be able to
promise you fair weather, but the forecasts are not really accurate more
than 6 to 10 days out.  On the bright side, Dryday.com has a long range
forecast showing that the whole War Week to have a high *probability *of
sunshine.  Hope they are right!
