[Artemisia] Collegium Lunch

Greetings, Gentle Cousins - 

 

Now that my Lord Aghren's health has settled down, I am focusing on a "lunch to remember" for Collegium in April.  I will be making pasties all week the week of the 4th through the 10th.  If anyone is still interested in helping and learning, please contact me off list.  I would welcome any and all help and will endeavor to do my best to teach you about feast planning and the history of pasties and similar dishes.

 

I am also putting out a call for donations of salads and desserts for Collegium.  The salads and desserts do NOT have to be period food.  We will need about 10 of each that will serve 10 to 15 people.

 

Again, please contact me off list if you are willing to share your OWN culinary talents for the benefit of a nice lunch.

 

I would like to thank you all for the honor of organizing this meal and helping to make it happen.  I LOVE doing this sort of thing and am always pleased to lend any talents I may have in this arena toward the greater good.

 

I would also like to thank you all for your well-wishes while Aggie was struggling with his health.  We are very relieved that his heart is clear and there is no sign of stenosis or damage.  So we are working on the anxiety level.  I think he needs less of his day job and MORE SCA!  LOL
