The Realm of Venus (a fabulous resource for Italian garb research) is
celebrating its 10th anniversary by sponsoring the Italian Renaissance
Costuming Challenge.  Participants have 4 months in which to create an
Italian Renaissance set of clothes from the skin out with a minimum of 4
layers.  Of the 29 people who are officially playing, 4 of them are
