Here ye, here ye! Unto our wondrous
populous of these sovereign lands of Artemisia, the time is nigh for their Royal
Majesties to decide upon their rightful heirs to our most glorious kingdom! Long
live the King! Long live the Queen! May their reign last forever!
Join us
in the humble Shire of Bronzehelm! Set within a beautiful , wooded glen beside
the King's golden rock river, we gather for a grand tournament of arms at the
Neverdone Homestead. Gates open at 4 pm on Friday October 5th, with activities
starting at 10 am Saturday, October 6th; opening Court will be at the discretion
of their Majesties.
The tournament is to be a Round Robin format, with an
open weapons style; Bye Fights welcome. We ask, if at all possible, that all
fighters that have submitted their intent for the tournament to please bring any
banners or pennants you may have so that we may set them up for the event. If
you do not have a banner, a picture of your device would still be appreciated
upon check-in with the Troll.
The Manor House will be available to their
Majesties, at their discretion. Populace is welcome to camp their pavilions on
site, or, for a minor stipend to go toward the Kingdom Travel Fund, limited
space is available in the Barn. Please make reservations for barn space with the
Autocrat.Well behaved critters are welcome. For a list of Hotels in the area,
please see below.
Lunch is to be provided by the populace! Bring your
best soup or stew to be enjoyed by all! Funds will go toward the Kingdom
Fundraiser. The crowd-pleasing dish will receive a prize to be handed out at
Closing Court. Please contact Lady Thorkatla with your submission, her contact
information is below. We ask that you also please bring a sign and a list of
ingredients for your submission; don't forget your ladles!
At this time,
Feast will be held for 80 people Saturday evening. In honor of their Majesties,
Feast will incorporate two cultures--the Middle East and Wales! From the Middle
East we have chicken kabobs specially seasoned and seared over fire. As
accompaniment we include a side of lentils, Isfanakh Mutajjan (fried spinach),
and Minted Cucumber Fresh Pickle. From Wales we bring you roast hog, a salad of
mixed greens with a vinaigrette dressing, leeks in orange sauce, and roast
vegetables dependent upon the harvest. To tickle the sweet tooth we'll also be
serving Luqam al-Qadl (fried sweet dough) and custard. Site is
wet.
Please make reservations for Feast with the Head Cook by September
26th. At this time the Head Cook has received 22 reservations, so there is
plenty of space still available. Please contact her, soon, before the seats run
out! All those attending Feast are to bring their own feasting gear! Spare feast
gear will not be provided.
Bardic performances will be held during Feast
for the enjoyment of the populace. At the end of Feast, the Kingdom Bard will be
chosen. Closing Court will be at the discretion of their Majesties. Site closes
