 RE: Gallowglass dot org. I happen to know the individual who runs the
service, and
 he provides the list services for free to SCA entities. If you need
to contact him, I'm happy 
 to assist. He lives in the Kingdom of Meridies and does a lot of the
'behind-the-scenes'
 electronic work for the Society.

 It's not 'unmaintained' so much as not super-strictly moderated, in
my opinion. Since
 the explosion of FaceBook and other social media, the traffic has
certainly dropped off 
 quite a bit but it is still a viable means of communication (again,
my opinion).
