UPRISING - KINGDOM FUNDRAISER

A GIFT OF TIME

Uprising starts Tomorrow!!  This will be the last post on the Fundraiser.


Guideline Reminder:

1. The time being offered for one hour, and must be done at Uprising. This
absolutely will not extend beyond 2015 Uprising period.


2.  Those donating their time are listed below with a description of type
of service and time frames available.


3. Individuals who will be purchasing Donor’s time agree that it must be
used at the times Donor has available.  All services are to be done during
2015 Uprising.


4.  If Donor is offering a service that involves creating or a donated
item, it must be finalized and distributed during 2015 Uprising.


5.  All purchases are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.  If Donor is willing to
accept more than person for their time period, it must be acceptable to all
parties who wish to purchase.  Services will not include child care or
anything else that goes against SCA policy or mundane law.


6. The cost for time starts at $25.00 for the hour (however if you wish to
contribute more for the service you are receiving, it will graciously be
accepted).  These fees will be paid to a member of the KCOE at the time you
select the Donor and time slot.   There will be information at Gate to make
purchases.


7.  If you wish to donate an item, that will be sold as your voluntary
donation of time.


Here is a list of Donors.  This may be added to at Uprising.  Updates will
be made available at Gate and by Privy Post.


HRM Ronan Joseph Scofield Available Wednesday and Thursday only (and time
frames are limited). Fighting techniques, training, critique, mentoring


HRM Clare Nicole Scofield Available Thursday 1:00 p.m. only. Assistance and
teaching on pewter carving and pouring techniques (no actual pewter pouring
will be done) and/or embroidery


HRH Esther Arwen C Dancer Available Tuesday evening or Wednesday. Middle
Eastern Dance.


Duke Timmur M.j. McCorristin Available Thursday afternoon (5:00 is best).
Fighting techniques and training in both heavy and rapier, construction of
an historically accurate thumb ring for shooting horse bow, middle eastern
dance for men


Duchess Esabell Grant Available Saturday afternoon only (around 3:00).

more!, medieval cooking, calligraphy, Laurel or Pelican peerage, A&S
documentation (just in time for the A&S Competition)


Master Braden Brad Wolf Contact for time, Thursday and Friday. Blackwork
instruction, arrow making, music, medieval cooking


Mistress Guiliana Shelly Wolf Contact for time. Friday night or Saturday. I
will add description


Mistress Varia Sonersen Friday. Historically accurate shoes. You will walk
away with a pattern and education to create your new shoes


Vicountess Morgan du Marc.  Friday or Saturday.  Card and/or inkle weaving


FlyingR Forge Vulcan Fergus He is offering two time slots for purchase.
Thursday & Friday 10-11. Beginning blacksmithing and forge time. Bring
safety glasses and wear close toed shoes.


HE Douglas Sutherland He is generously offering two time slots. Contact for
time. One hour professional photography session at Uprising. Includes
session and digital photos.


THL Tamsyn Sutherland Tammy Anderson Contact for time. Spend an hour with
the Kingdom Scribe doing illumination. All materials, including a scroll
blank, will be provided. No deadlines, just fun


THL Aingeal Inghean Garaidh. Friday. Creating Irish cap. All materials will
be provided and you can construct your cap in the time period. She will
take 3 people for this hands on instruction


Vincenzo Rod Hansen Contact for time. One hour professional photograph
session at Uprising, includes session and digital photos


Killian Flynn MacThoy. Thursday. Italian Rapier v. Gigante; discussion on
medieval philosophy, historiography, or general labor at your encampment


Ursula Diane Donald. Wed 3-5, Thurs 1-5 or Fri 1-3, Sat 10-12. Drop spindle
instruction. maybe knitting?


Aonghus Boithwell  Arlen Donald  (Wed 8:00-10:00 p.m and most times on
Friday). Set up or tear down for you encampment, brewing education


Sneferu Dan Lind. Has donated two time slots. Contract for time. Heraldry
creation, instruction and assistance. This is one on one assistance with
your heraldry


Adeliz Fergusson (Adele Ferguson). Contact for time. Teaching of
illumination and scribal arts


Perwyr Christy Giblon No time, but has donated a beautiful set of
Illumination cards, which will be given when her time is purchased


Suzy Gillot. Will make 5 foot custom Kumihimo braid. Consult will be
Thursday with the winner for color and design, and the braid will be
finished for delivery by end of the event


Talysha Tingey and Vlad together for two hour time slop.  Saturday (when
range time is available, but trying for 1-3) Beginning archery instruction
and range time with two instructors.  Minors must be accompanied by their
parents.   Can take two individuals


Ulrich von Grimme.  Thursday or Friday.  Beginning thrown weapons
instruction, intro to juggling


Barony of Loch Salann Mark Steele     One premium parking space.


Winifred Whitehorse.  Contact for time.  Information will be provided on
site.
