Not surprised but cliques do destroy the fabric of the SCA.  I can 
name groups in this kingdom that have died because of cliques and 
name several individuals who left the SCA because of various 
cliques.  Is this really what the SCA is about and what we really 
want to happen in Artemisia?

There is nothing wrong with defining boundries for participation but 
those boundries should not be arbitary as they frequently can are in 
the SCA.  The question should be does an individual make the grade or 
not based on group association or popularity.
