[Artemisia] Membership Questions

That’s an interesting question Thea. I am a member; the reason that I became a member is because I wanted to take a bigger role in the society than simply showing up to the parties. Sure, the idea that I needed to pay to be able to fight had something to do with it, ok a lot but, it more had to do with the fact that I wanted to start participating in the SCA instead of simply being there. I wanted to take ownership. You can probably guess that I am in favor of a pay to play policy, I look at for the viewpoint that as a paid member I am more than just a member I am a person who has a vested interest in the group, it’s my society and if I want to have a part in how things are done then I need to make sure that I help to facilitate it’s existence, again more than just showing up.
