I am sure a few of you will get this more than once, I apologize for that.
==

There has been something brewing within the King’s lands of Sliver Keep,
a noise of battle calls. The men all around the land take up arms and
heed the call to their feudal Lords and answer. We are under siege! To
the Keep, to the Keep! Silver Keep is under siege and has put fourth a
call for Help from its cousins of Artemisia to heed their cry!

Come and storm the Keep with us! This is an siege weapon event that will
consist of all kinds, from table top to list legal size. We have a
Castle "wall" that still stands, and the competitions for Distance
Accuracy perhaps will bring that wall crumbling down.

We need our Fighters! All Fighters please come and help combat back the
ground forces! There will be plenty of area for the fighters to defend
our Keep. All Duelist of the Shire come and help us find our Champion!
There will be a competition to find our Shire's Duelist Champion, but we
ask all to come and cross swords for the cause of a good time!

This year's Castle Siege Event begins at 11 a.m. Exciting events for
rapier enthusiasts include a Tourney to determine our Shire Champion and
a Storming the Castle Battle to take Silver Keep. Four classes are
planned: Advanced Autocratting, Making the Mundane Medieval, Singing a
Period Song, and Pewter Casting. Siege Weapons have been prepared for
those who wish to siege the castle. There will also be an informal Arts
and Sciences display in the afternoon (no documentation required). Heavy
fighters are also welcome for casual combat and a possible Torch Light
Tourney Saturday evening.
