Please cross post as appropriate (sorry if you read this 5 times on 5 lists)

To All on the Lists:
In the great tradition of our glorious past, the Barony of Loch Salann would once again like to hear the sounds of Middle Eastern drums and the jingle of dancing bells!

May people have expressed an interest in learning Middle Eastern drumming and dancing. To this end, Lady Ashe'el and I would like to announce that we will be organizing monthly workshops to be held concurrent with the Loch Salann Fighter Practice held Wednesdays at Mt. Jordan Middle School in Sandy. We invite people of all skill levels to join us in learning and teaching these great and enjoyable skills.

We will be holding Middle Eastern dance (belly dance) workshops on the first Wednesday of each month.

We will be holding Middle Eastern drumming workshops on the third Wednesday of each month. The first drum workshop will take place on Wednesday the 21st. If you don't have a drum yet, don't be afraid to show up anyway, there will be loaner drums to help get you started and others people who will be happy to educate you and help you figure out what drum to buy when you are ready.

If there is enough interest we will look into holding workshops more frequently and possibly moving the drum workshop to a different night and location in order to allow any interested fighters to join us in learning to play drums.

If you are interested in participating in either the drumming or dance workshops, please feel free to contact me at zemlar at yahoo.com

Yours in Service,
