[Sca-librarians] Google scanning and posting items from major
libraries?

My understanding of this project is that it will only
cover public domain material held in the subject
libraries so I don't think there will be any copyright
issues.
I take it that most material is coming from the 19th
century. Putting them out there in Google simply
increases the accesability to material that is
generaly out of print.
